You can easily bleed your brakes by connecting a Mighty-Vac to the bleeder screw (opened one turn) in a matter of a few seconds. The vacuum produced by the Mighty-Vac will pull the brake fluid all the way from the master cylinder, through the lines, and through the caliper.

Bench bleeding is needed when installing new master cylinders. I once replaced master cylinder on my 3rd gen. All I did was fill the MC with brake fluids and 'pump' the center rod a few times.
