WebJul 6, 2011 · If you decide to avoid the overhead weld, and do want to flip the trailer, don't try to roll it sideways. Instead, block the rear of the frame up and lift the tongue up high. Your plan is the workable low buck alternative from what I can see. Without previous experience, I do expect you're going to have a struggle judging how far to pull & push.
