My Jeep is a 2016, so it may be newer than some others, but I do not have any sponginess in the brake pedal and noticed an immediate major improvement in braking performance. The pads are available off the shelf, because they are 2010 Ram 1500 pads, so, when these go out, I will probably buy high performance pickup pads for added braking power.
