Or pick up a Ford 8.8" (31-spline) and lock it with an Eaton E-Locker. Maybe get some alloy shafts for it too, and keep the stock shafts for spares.

Web21 ott 2011 · 1. I can only speak about the 44 which has proven to be an excellent axle for me. Three years and no issues in snow, mud, the Rubicon, etc. 2. The pinion yoke of the 44 will match your current DS, but your axle brackets wont. The XJ is a leaf over, not a coil over, in the rear.
