One is on the extruder, and I have it set as E0_AUTO_FAN_PIN. The other is a part cooling fan, and I'd like it to come on whenever the slicer has set it to (like, I'm printing in PLA). I have it defined as FAN_PIN.

However, the firmware must be configured accordingly and in particular, it must know which fan is connected to which port to control each fan according to its function.

Now to add fans to the heated bed, I have modified the firmware so that D11 controls both extruder fans. I can confirm that K-FAN1 and K-FAN2 are BOTH connected to the same PWM (which Marlin correctly uses), which probably caused the confusion- the mainboard fan does not turn on until the hotend fan kicks in on this board. scottish midge watchWebFirst, when you are installing the board make sure to swap case/electronics fan with the part-cooling fan.
