Mosher's reaction

As a chiral derivatizing agent, it reacts with an alcohol or amine of unknown stereochemistry to form an ester or amide. The absolute configuration of the ester or amide is then determined by proton and/or F NMR spectroscopy. Mosher's acid chloride, the acid chloride form, is sometimes used because it has better reactivity. WebMosher's acid is a chiral derivatizing agent

WebRacemization of a pure enantiomer, m.p. 158 ºC, takes place on heating. The half-life is about 10 hr. in benzene solution at 25 ºC and less than 1 sec. at 180 ºC. Both a conglomerate, m.p. 158 ºC, and a racemic compound, m.p. 145 ºC, are known for the racemate. The former is more stable above 76 ºC. WebThe production of O2+ by a second‐order ion—molecule reaction in CO2 has been studied in a conventional mass spectrometer. Experiments are described designed to determine whether the O2+ arises from the reactions O++CO2→O2++CO or CO2+(2Σg+)+CO2→O2++2CO. nova lock and key solutions https://daniutou.com
