North arrow won't link to viewport
Web15 de nov. de 2013 · North arrow rotation I'm using a north arrow from Civil 3D's "Layout Tools" in a plan and profile template I created. It's worked correctly in the past with other drawings, however in a new drawing it's stopped rotating to the viewport angle. If I insert a new arrow from the "Layout Tools" it won't rotate either after selecting the viewport. Web7 de abr. de 2014 · When you have a lot of sheets, obviously the North arrow should always point the same way, so whenever a viewport in the drawing is rotated the north arrow will always be rotated by the same amount. Also when the vp is rotated, annotation elements rotate with it (scalebars, keylines, text...), and then one has to go in and fix them.

Web4 de jan. de 2016 · You can click on a viewport and get its scale and insert the correct block. Like last suggestion but a single block with attributes that are updated to reflect scale. Not sure if you can use fields that are linked to the viewport scale as another. As we are civil we have 1:100 1:50 for cross sections so need two rows of text. Quote Dana W
