WebChecking in to report I was able to get the Baba Yaga bug fixed by only replacing the bigfile listed in that link (bigfile.dlc.mode.colddarkness.000.000.tiger), the second one named there wasn't even in the update I used. My save games were entirely unaffected, and the cutscene played as usual.
