WebYour pool has a check valve (normally covered with a 2 inch wide clear cover screwed in place). When the pump is on, this valve is pushed open by the pressure sending water to the spa. When the pump is off, the spring in the valve shuts, keeping water from draining back into the system. If the spring is old/doesn’t work, water can drain out.

This should be automatically done but it's possible someone touched one of the toggle switches or the actuators aren't working.
