But the problem is that i am having a laptop where the bios is only having simple settings , no advanced settings are available in the bios. AHCI for non-raided disks, RAID for disks you want to RAID. We're doing the switch over at the moment and AHCI seems to be the best one, as already mentioned if only one disc then AHCI.
